Ethiopia The cooperative is located in the village of Banko Gotiti, south of Gedeb, Gedeo District, Ethiopia.

Located in the Kochere district, Gotiti Kebele has a strong reputation for quality coffee, producing some of the most sought-after small-batch coffees in the world. High altitude (high in some areas
up to 2,200 meters)


The cooperative was established in 2012 as a separate entity from the larger Worka Cooperative and currently has approximately 300 members. Banko Gotiti Cooperative is famous for the best coffee cherry varieties in Ethiopia.

Ripe cherries are carefully selected and immediately placed on carefully constructed raised beds to ensure proper air circulation and warmth.

 The cherries are also turned regularly on the bed to prevent damage during the drying process.
